Project study

Carving treated as part of the architecture.

The botanical relief extends across the wall plane and around three glazed openings, giving the entrance a continuous visual rhythm rather than a collection of separate decorative panels.

Changes in depth and motif density help the carving remain legible across the wide façade. The glass and simple door frames provide a quiet counterpoint to the hand-worked stone surface.

03The carved field continues to the edge of the façade without becoming a separate decorative insert.

The result

A richly worked entrance that makes the carving inseparable from the architecture.
